Hamot Infusion Center - Intermodal Transportation Center
Patients seeking safe, comfortable, convenient alternative to inpatient care for quality infusion therapy can visit the Hamot Infusion Center (HIC). Since the Hamot Infusion Center is hospital-based, patients with Medicare and other insurances are covered for therapies that would otherwise not be reimbursed in a home care setting. For patients who require infusion therapy during their hospitalization, the Hamot Infusion Center can decrease the length of stay providing those services on an outpatient basis. The Hamot Infusion Center utilizes high technology infusion pumps and medication administration systems to enhance patient safety.
The Hamot Infusion Center is staffed with Registered Nurses specifically trained in infusion therapy. Patients utilizing the HIC can take advantage of free parking for easy access, along with the comforts of recliner chairs, complimentary beverages, snacks and cable television.
The Hamot Infusion center is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Please call (814)-877-6600 to schedule an appointment.
Therapy times vary based on the treatment. All therapies must be ordered by a physician.
Great Lakes Home Health Infusion Services
Under the direction of a physician, our specially trained staff can administer a variety of infusion medications in the comfort of the patient's home. Through planning, management and evaluating, we make sure that the quality of care the patient receives from their doctor and hospital continues at home. Using the latest in technology for in-home infusion therapy our team of experts provides services unmatched in northern Pennsylvania. Our experienced nurses are licensed in Pennsylvania and New York and our in-house pharmacy is USP 97 compliant. We also offer the services of a clinical nutritionist for enteral and total parenteral nutrition clients. Services can be provided either at home or in the comfort of our ambulatory infusion center located at 1700 Peach Street, Erie.
