Discover a healthier, happier you at the Hamot Health Connection. Our services — which range from our health information library to massage, and just about everything in between — are designed to help you keep up with your family's changing health needs.
Classes — From prenatal programs to physician talks, our ongoing series of classes offers something for everyone. Fitness classes include yoga, gentle exercise and strength training. Courses are subject to change and may be cancelled due to inadequate enrollment. You will be notified and receive a full refund.
Library — Our health information library contains books, DVDs, audio books and reference materials. Books can be borrowed for a two-week period, DVDs and CDs for one week.
Menopause Coaching — Hot flashes? Night sweats? Mood swings? For information on managing menopause, schedule a private consultation and educational session with Debbie DeAngelo, RNC, BSN, author of Sudden Menopause.
Cost: 50-minute appointment $45
Personal Nutrition Coaching - (Adults and Kids 5 Years and Older) — Need to drop a few pounds? Lower your cholesterol? Increase your energy level? Let our registered dietitian help you achieve your dietary goals. By appointment only.
Cost: $60 for initial consult, $35 for follow-up consults, no charge to eligible Highmark members
Private Yoga Coaching — Schedule an individual yoga appointment with Nancy Steele, Physical Therapist and Certified Yoga Instructor, to learn yoga postures specifically tailored to your needs or to enhance and deepen your current practice.
Cost: 60-minute appointment $45
Massage Services — Massage is a gentle manipulation of the body that relaxes the muscles and restores energy. It helps to release tension, increase circulation and promote relaxation. Relief from many disorders and pain syndromes can also be realized. Our experienced staff of massage therapists provides a wide array of massage techniques, helping each client to determine what is most beneficial. Gift certificates are welcomed gifts for showers, birthdays, or just saying "Thanks." MasterCard®, Visa® and Discover® accepted. Types of massage include:

Acupuncture Services — Acupuncture is one of the oldest forms of healing in the world. The goal is to restore balance and harmony to the body. Treatments are safe, gentle, relaxing and have been proven to be effective for treating many conditions including allergies, headaches, depression and pain. Schedule an appointment with Maki Kurata, Licensed Acupuncturist. Once a determination of your condition is made, an individualized acupuncture treatment plan will be created specifically for you. Office Hours — Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Evening and Saturday hours vary according to class schedules.
