The UPMC Hamot Wellness Center is committed to providing you with superior customer service in a comfortable and friendly environment. The staff is degreed and certified by the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Council on Exercise.  They specialize in exercise physiology, lifestyle management and nutrition. Their team of health and fitness professionals will work with you to improve your eating, exercise and lifestyle habits so you can achieve your health and fitness goals.

As the region's only medical fitness center, the UPMC Hamot Wellness Center offers more than just a place to work out. They work closely with UPMC Hamot Sports Medicine, the region's most experienced therapists and orthopaedic specialists dedicated to getting the seasoned athletes and the weekend warriors back on their feet and back in the game.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

At any given time, 20 percent of employees have personal problems that impact their job.  Problems, whether they are medical or emotional, prevent employees from working at full capacity, costing employers billions of dollars in diminished productivity, absenteeism and increased healthcare costs.  Business losses described could be avoided or reduced if employees received the treatment they need. 

The Northwest Beacon Group, LLC, Employee Assistance Program (NWB EAP) provides high-quality, confidential counseling services and support for your employees and their household members in the tri-state region.  Assistance is available for a wide range of personal issues including:  alcohol abuse; depression; and family discord .  NWB EAP is workplace designed to help identify and facilitate the resolution of behavioral health issues and productivity problems that may adversely affect your employees' well being or job performance. 

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) NWB EAP clinicians are immediately available 24 hours a day, seven days a week -- their telephones are always answered live without a voice prompt system - the only EAP service of its kind in the Erie region.  All information is confidential whether it is conducted in person or over the telephone.  Their network of clinicians are licensed with a variety of certifications and specialties.

Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) training, ‘Lunch and Learn' sessions on a variety of topics, flexible and emergency appointments to meet your employees' schedules, and a convenient location off site from your organization to ensure employee privacy.
