Cardiac Rehabilitation
What is cardiac rehabilitation?
Cardiac rehabilitation (cardiac rehab) is a medically supervised exercise and education program designed to help people recover from heart attacks, heart surgery and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures such as stenting and angioplasty. The Cardiac Rehab program at UPMC Hamot is AACVPR (American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation) Certified. This distinction is shared only with 48 other cardiac rehab programs in the state of Pennsylvania, and UPMC Hamot has the only certified program in the City of Erie.
This is accomplished with a team of healthcare professionals including:

- Exercise physiologists

- Cardiac nurses

Phase 3 (self-pay $25.00 per month) membership
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
6:30-9:00am and 2:00-4:00pm
Tuesday and Thursday
9:00am -12:00pm and 2:00-5:00pm
