UPMC Hamot has partnered with the Regional Cancer Center to provide cancer care and services. The Regional Cancer Center was one of the first free-standing community cancer centers in the country. Today it is among the largest, providing over 850,000 services each year at three locations. As a result of pooled resources with partner hospitals, the expertise of a leading group of cancer physicians, and a network of treatment facilities, patients throughout the region have access to advanced technologies and treatment methods, at times before many other parts of the country.
