• In 2000, five surgeons from the Cardiopulmonary and Peripheral Vascular Associates group joined the surgeons of Hamot's Flagship CVTS group. The addition of these surgeons made the Hamot Heart Institute the largest and most experienced heart program in the region.
• Hamot received HealthGrades Benchmark for Success and Stroke Benchmark for Success awards.
