Vascular Surgeon
UPMC Hamot Flagship Cardiac Vascular Thoracic Surgeons is currently seeking a vascular surgeon to join their team. The team is comprised of six board certified cardiac, vascular and thoracic surgeons with an accredited, full-service vascular laboratory here in Erie, Pennsylvania. - UPMC Hamot Flagship CVT Surgeons practice at UPMC Hamot, a progressive 343-bed tertiary care hospital and Level II Trauma Center, with over 400 physicians on the medical staff. - As part of the UPMC Hamot Heart Institute Cardiac Surgery Program, the Flagship CVT Surgeons overall surgical mortality in FY 2008 was 2.4% risk adjusted, and isolated CABG was 2.2% risk adjusted, comparing with the best programs in the U.S. UPMC Hamot Flagship CVT Surgeons perform approximately 800 vascular and endovascular surgical procedures and over 400 diagnostic angiograms annually. Our vascular laboratory performs over 5,000 outpatient diagnostic tests per year.
- The ideal candidate will have training and experience in vascular and endovascular surgical techniques as well as experience with vascular angiography.
