We would like to introduce you to an exceptional opportunity to practice Urology in Northwestern Pennsylvania (Erie). Lakeview Urologic Surgeons is seeking an additional Urologist to join our hospital-employed practice. Established in 1983, our practice has been providing care for the residents of this Tri-State region (Northwest Pennsylvania, Western New York, Northeast Ohio). These positions offer a guaranteed minimum compensation and incentives depending upon candidate experience, ability and qualifications.
There are currently three board-certified urologists and three physician assistants in the group.
The group is employed by, and practice exclusively at UPMC Hamot, a 412-bed tertiary care and teaching hospital. UPMC Hamot and UPMC Hamot Ambulatory Surgery Center feature state-of-the-art laparoscopic abilities, including AESOP Robotic assistance and the prestigious DaVinci remote robotic surgery system. Holmium and CO2 lasers with new ureteroscopy equipment are available at our Surgery Center. A mobile lithotriptor, indigo laser, and lithoclast are available at UPMC Hamot. UPMC Hamot support services include Interventional Radiology, residency programs in Orthopaedic Surgery, Neurology and Emergency Medicine, and an Intensive Care Service. We have an extremely loyal and excellent referral base.
The ideal candidate will possess skills in laparoscopic procedures as well as the full range of general urology, and will be Board Certified or Board Eligible. We are seeking Urologists with excellent clinical and leadership skills as we continue to build this premier urologic practice.
