This is an opportunity with UPMC Hamot's Neurological Surgery service in Erie, PA. We are the recognized leaders in the provision of neurological surgery for this tri-state region (Northwestern Pennsylvania, Western New York, Northeastern Ohio). Some attributes of this position follow:
- The UPMC Hamot Neuroscience Institute offers multidisciplinary assessment and treatment of a broad range of clinical issues. Physician specialties include Neurological Surgery related both to head and spine, Neurointerventional Surgery and Stroke Intervention, general and specialty Neurology, Neuropsychiatry, Intra-operative Monitoring and a full range of ancillary and support services.
- A strong Erie County referral base from over 110,000 primary care patients in the UPMC Hamot Physician Network as well as a tremendous regional referral base of one million residents of the tri state area with a strong preference for UPMC Hamot.
- We are looking for a physician who can advance neurosurgical goals and grow with the dynamic needs of our Neurosciences Institute and our busy trauma service. We are seeking a neurological surgeon with excellent clinical and leadership skills.
- The ideal candidate is fellowship trained and BC/BE in Neurological Surgery. In this position you will be part of a group where you can continue to grow as both a physician and an individual.
