The UPMC Hamot Primary Care Network functions as a group of board certified physician, physician assistants and nurse practitioners currently providing care to more than 100,000 patients. Established in 1985, the network has grown into an association of 45 physicians in 18 offices located throughout Northwest Pennsylvania and is still growing.

In keeping with the Network’s vision, the focus of our well-trained team of providers is to provide superior community based patient care.  The Network’s providers are trained to look at the patient as a whole, and they have the knowledge and expertise to deal with a multitude of health related problems.

The UPMC Hamot Physician Network providers work together to offer highly personalized, customer oriented, compassionate and quality service to our patients.  They have immediate access to hundreds of specialists and a full range of services offered by UPMC Hamot if the need arises.

Expansion of the Primary Care Network with additional primary care and specialty service providers is expected to continue well in the future. The UPMC Hamot Primary Care Network administration takes pride in their management style which encourages physicians to run their office in accordance with their personal style, overseen by the Physician Goverance Committee. An established committee structure throughout the network provides support and decision making in the areas of quality, service excellence, growth & development and finance.
