3 South Inpatient

3 South is a 25 bed Medical/Surgical unit that serves a diverse patient population. The unit serves many surgical specialties including general surgery, colorectal, urology, plastic surgery, otorhinolaryngology, and orthopaedics. We also care for post-procedural patients, patients with low-risk chest pain with flex telemetry, and overflow outpatients requiring infusions and/or transfusions.

Due to the nature of the patients we care for, our unit can be very fast paced requiring our staff to work very closely with one another. We pride ourselves in our excellent patient care and service excellence.

3 South provides exciting opportunities to practice nursing as a new grad or experienced nurse. Our Employee Engagement Committee has organized celebrations as well as community service projects.
