Continuing Medical Education
Hamot Medical Center is accredited by the Pennsylvania Medical Society to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. This accreditation is based on Hamot's documented compliance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education and the Pennsylvania Medical Society.
Hamot received a six-year accreditation status from the Pennsylvania Medical Society in February 2007.
Online Conference Information and Registration
You can now view the current Medical Grand Rounds schedule and get up-to-date information about Hamot’s CME conferences by clicking below, or at left, to enter Hamot’s web portal for continuing education.
This site is maintained in cooperation with Hamot University and contains information about many of Hamot’s various continuing education programs, including ACLS, PALS, BLS courses, as well as other classes geared toward nursing and leadership development. To find information on specific CME courses, select “CME” from the drop down “Department” menu at the top, and click “GO.” Major CME conferences will have a shortcut button to the left for easy access.
As Hamot transitions to online conference registration, some CME conferences will continue to require paper registration sent via fax or mail. Look for the “Register Now” button linked to conferences that are eligible for online registration using PayPal™.
Create an Account Today for Greater Access and Online Conference Registration!
To access credit transcripts and register for conferences, make sure to create an account in the system. It only takes a few minutes to create a user profile. Click on “My Account” in the top left corner to get started today! Transcript history information is available in the online system from January 2009 to the present.
*Please note: Users may not be able to access transcriptsimmediately after creating an account. The CME Department must manually link new accounts with previous CME attendance and transcript history.
