Community Message from Jim Fiorenzo
On July 1, I began a new phase of my career and I am proud to now serve as president of UPMC Hamot, a health care provider nationally recognized for delivering high-quality compassionate care.
Having joined Hamot in 1975, I have watched the organization grow and advance. Today, UPMC Hamot serves as the region’s leading health system, top employer, and community steward.
UPMC Hamot’s highly skilled employees, physicians, and volunteers continue to elevate its quality patient care and service. It is my privilege to serve alongside these dedicated individuals.
I am excited to work closely with UPMC Hamot’s dedicated Board of Directors and I am happy to continue to work with John Malone who will remain UPMC Hamot CEO until February 1, 2013 and will assist me in the executive transition.
I am confident that UPMC Hamot will remain committed to excellence and will continue to uphold values of quality, health, and healing.
I look forward to helping UPMC Hamot, Erie, and our region reach new heights of greatness.
