Ellen M. Patterson
Vice President of Marketing & Corporate Communications, UPMC Hamot
Ellen M. Patterson serves as the vice president of Marketing and Corporate Communications. In this role, Ms. Patterson oversees advertising, public relations, issues management, internal communications, special events, business development, and community relations activities. Additionally, she is responsible for the Patient Services Department and the UPMC Hamot Aid Society.
She also provides oversight of the retail operations at the gift shop and Cherish Boutique.
Ms. Patterson joined Hamot (now UPMC Hamot) in 2003 as the director of Marketing and accepted the additional role of director of Communications later that same year. During this time, she has strengthened the organization's brand both internally and externally and serves on numerous internal committees and workgroups.
Ms. Patterson serves as vice president of United Charities and also serves on the Community Shelter Services Board.
