Andrew E. Kwiatkowski

Vice President of Patient Accounting, UPMC Hamot
Andrew E. Kwiatkowski was appointed vice president of Patient Accounting at Hamot (now UPMC Hamot) in 2004. As vice president, his responsibilities are to develop, interpret, coordinate, and administer policies and procedures related to all aspects of patient financial services. This includes patient registration, charge accumulation, medical records, billing, credit and collection, cashiering, and third-party relationships.

In his role as vice president of Patient Accounting, Mr. Kwiatkowski oversees Patient Financial Services, Regional Health and Management Services (RHMS), Central Outpatient Scheduling, Coding, and Admission & Registration.

Mr. Kwiatkowski has more than 22 years of experience in the health care industry. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science and business from Mercyhurst College.
